This first panel of the triptych marks the liberating moment of rupture. Lalou Kraffe captures the breath of escape: the turmoil – noises, pressures, obligations – remains behind, while space finally opens up. A moving silhouette, still marked by the effort of deliverance, advances towards a peaceful elsewhere. Colors lighten, the horizon takes shape. It is the first step towards oneself.
The painting is a unique work created on a wooden panel (10mm MDF) traditionally prepared with a gesso coating. The paint is entirely made with extra-fine acrylic (Sennelier, Charvin, Liquitex) with copper leaf application and created by hand, without any collage or AI...
The XL float frames are manufactured in Brittany by our partner framer and the artworks are assembled in our workshop in Auray.
