Triptych 3B: "And I found myself there, seated, here or here..."

A large tree leaning over the water, a light sky and banks that echo one another… In this central panel, Lalou gives pale blues and the landscape’s sense of space room to breathe.

Copper-coloured leaves fill the upper part of the image, while branches and their reflections guide the eye towards the water. Lower down, red accents and rocks gently bring it back to the foreground. What we like here is this open space: there are details to explore, but the eye can also rest.

In the original artwork, Lalou combines painting with applications of copper leaf. This print reproduces those nuances while retaining the matte finish of art paper.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
