Large rounded rocks fill the foreground at the foot of slender trees. Their small copper-coloured leaves form an arch across the sky; further away, blue trees stand on a bank.

The gaps between the trunks open a view onto the pale water and its reflections. The vertical format follows the rising branches and succession of stones in this landscape inspired by Brittany’s boulder formations.

The orange foliage reproduces the copper leaf used in the original. The print captures its warm nuances above the greys, blues and pale rocks.

Sizes and framing

This open art edition is offered in a 30 × 60 cm format, unframed. A framed version is also available at the gallery; this presentation cannot currently be ordered online. The photograph shows a framed presentation.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
