Large rounded rocks fill the foreground at the foot of slender trees. Their small copper-coloured leaves form a canopy in the sky; farther away, blue trees stand on a bank.

Openings between the trunks lead the eye towards the pale water and its reflections. The vertical format follows the rising branches and succession of stones in this landscape inspired by Breton rock formations.

The orange foliage reproduces the copper leaf used in the original painting. The print renders its warm shades above the greys, blues and pale rocks.

Edition and presentation

This artwork is offered in a limited edition of 50 numbered copies. Presented in a black floating frame. Available formats: 30 × 60 cm and 40 × 80 cm.

Each limited edition is hand-signed and numbered by Lalou on the back of the print. It comes with a certificate, also signed, stating its edition number and the title of the work. All limited editions are presented in a floating frame.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
