Andy Warhol
The Fonds Hélène & Édouard Leclerc is dedicating a major exhibition to Andy Warhol, a key figure in American pop art, in Landerneau.
Presented at Les Capucins from June 6, 2026, to January 24, 2027, it is set to be the artist's first major retrospective in France in forty years.
Over 200 works from the collections of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh will offer a chance to rediscover the artist who elevated everyday objects – Campbell's soup cans, soda cans, or household products – to the status of modern icons.
A visionary, Warhol blurred the lines between popular culture and contemporary art and championed the idea of art accessible to all, summarized by his prophetic phrase about "15 minutes of fame."
Set in the former supermarket hall of a shopping center, this exhibition promises a total immersion in the flamboyant and critical world of the Pope of Pop Art.

"Au temps de Camille Claudel"
L’exposition « Au temps de Camille Claudel, être sculptrice à Paris » au musée de Pont-Aven replace Camille Claudel dans un réseau de femmes artistes actives à Paris vers 1900.
Malgré les obstacles (formation limitée, reconnaissance inégale), une vingtaine de sculptrices comme Charlotte Besnard, Marie Cazin ou Jane Poupelet s’imposent dans un milieu masculin.
90 œuvres et documents (sculptures, photos, lettres) reconstituent leurs ateliers, réseaux et rivalités dans le Paris cosmopolite de 1880-1913.
Coproduite avec le musée Camille Claudel et Tours, elle réhabilite ces figures oubliées et interroge la place des femmes dans l’histoire de l’art.

The exhibition "Jean Painlevé, Feet in the Water" at the Musée de Pont-Aven presents the work of filmmaker and biologist Jean Painlevé (1902-1989), a major figure in scientific documentary. Jan Krizek, Journey of a Solitary Artist
The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Brest pays tribute to a major Czech artist, Jan Krizek (1919-1985), through a new exhibition adapted for an off-site presentation, combining reproductions and original works.
This exhibition, at Les Capucins, originated from the 2023 inventory of a vast collection of the artist's works held by the museum, primarily comprising drawings, watercolors, and prints, in which the human figure always constitutes the central theme.
Often associated with numerous artistic movements (Art Brut, Surrealism, etc.), he claimed none and succeeded in developing a spontaneous and universal art.
