Collection: Works in the archives

For over twenty years, Lalou Kraffe has been creating poetic paintings where material and emotion interact.

For over 20 years, Lalou Kraffe has been painting sensitive figurative works on wood panels using extra-fine acrylics, enhanced with copper, gold, or silver leaf. Prepared through meticulous sketchbooks, her canvases combine precise lines with controlled spontaneity.
She explores the feminine figure, intimate emotions, and a poetic relationship with textile materials. Inspired by William Morris's Arts and Crafts, the Nabis, Art Nouveau, and the Pont-Aven School, she creates refined, narrative, and decorative paintings where color and light invite contemplation.
