Lying on her stomach, a red-haired woman turns her profile to the right. Brown and black cushions surround her pale body; above, leafy branches pass in front of a large golden disc.

Yellows and ochres dominate this narrow composition. The pile of fabrics continues the body’s movement, while the textile patterns and leaves give this Princess and the Pea a lively, playful air.

The gold leaf used in the original forms the large celestial body in the background. The print reproduces its colour behind the black branches and red hair.

Edition and presentation

This edition is limited to 50 numbered copies. Presented in a black floating frame. Format: 20 × 60 cm.

Each limited edition is hand-signed and numbered by Lalou on the back of the print. It comes with a certificate, also signed, stating its edition number and the title of the work. All limited editions are presented in a floating frame.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
