"To embrace nature fully and create a large, comforting shawl with the tinkling of water and the whisper of leaves."
A tree crosses the landscape diagonally, between bluish trunks and copper-coloured foliage. At its foot, rounded rocks leave a passage for water drawn with small arcs, like so many regular waves.
The horizon opens behind the branches. The ochres of the stones, the greys of the sky and the distant trees create a Breton landscape that the eye can explore slowly, from the foreground to the bank.
The foliage’s orange tones come from the copper leaf applied to the original artwork. The print reproduces those nuances among the blues and ochres.
