A tree cuts diagonally across the landscape, set among bluish trunks and copper-colored foliage. At its feet, rounded rocks allow the water to flow in small arcs, like a series of regular waves.
The horizon opens up behind the branches. The ochres of the stones, the grays of the sky, and the distant trees form a Breton landscape that the eye can slowly explore, from the foreground to the riverbank.
The orange tones of the foliage come from the copper leaf placed on the original artwork. The print reproduces its nuances among the blues and ochres.
