Happy, with soft, silent steps, I slipped home carrying a bouquet of wild grasses
A red-haired woman bends her face towards a large bouquet of grasses held close to her. Black stems and small umbels pass in front of her hair and the patterns of her pale clothing.
A large copper-coloured celestial disc enters the top of the composition. Against the blue-green background, small orange squares and pale circles accompany the fine lines of the bouquet.
The disc and small squares reproduce copper leaf applications on the original. The print captures their tones behind the figure and plants.
