Fine golden branches rise from blue-green hair. The face turns towards us above a dark collar, against a green background punctuated by small light patterns.

The title speaks of a nest of leaves; the image intertwines the lines of the hairstyle with those of the branches. The eye moves from the face to the branches, then to the patterns of the clothing, in a fresh, plant-filled composition.

The golden branches originate in the gold-leaf work of the original artwork. Their shades are reproduced here on fine art paper in contrast with the greens.
