Two faces draw close, their eyes closed. Red hair echoes the purples of the other figure; deep purple fabrics surround the bodies and merge into a dark setting scattered with small golden touches.

The close crop gives this intimate moment its full space. Folds and patterns extend the meeting of the faces within a palette of muted reds and plums.

The small golden fragments in the original artwork are made with gold leaf. The print reproduces them as printed touches scattered among the purples.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
