A woman in profile holds her hands in front of her lips. Small squares in copper tones escape from them, as if carried by her breath; her blue-grey dress stands out against a background of nuanced greys, ochres and red.

The pinned-up hair and arms trace a flowing line. The gesture seems to transform the words of the title into a small flight between the hands and the open space in front of the face.

The small squares in the original painting are made with copper leaf. This print reproduces their warm tones in the movement of the breath and on the clothing.
