A generous sweep of red hair, a dark cup raised to the lips and a direct gaze: this portrait gives a familiar gesture its full place. The pink flowers of the clothing meet the dark foliage of the golden background.

Purples and pinks surround the figure, while the hand and face bring a lighter breathing space. It evokes the time we give ourselves, a cup between our fingers, before letting our thoughts wander.

Behind the face and cup, golden tones reproduce the shades of the gold leaf used in the original painting. They contribute to the interplay of colours in this print on paper.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
