A woman tilts her face towards us, wrapped in a wide collar striped in blue and grey. A nest and an egg in her hair stand out against the golden background; a few dark stems extend the lines of the setting.

Strands of hair, twigs and the stripes of the clothing lead the eye between the face and nature. The title evokes the morning sun: the image holds the gentleness of a moment still kept for oneself.

The golden background of this print reproduces the shades of the gold leaf applied to the original painting. They echo the blue and grey stripes of the collar.
