A large red fabric envelops a woman up to the lower part of her face. Her eyes look towards us beneath red hair crossed by small copper-coloured squares; a black branch stretches across the blue-green background.

Folds and patterns give depth to the reds of the fabric. The close crop keeps the focus on the face and this feeling of being warm, sheltered within a garment.

The small squares on the forehead and around the hair reproduce the copper leaf of the original artwork. They are printed among the reds and greens, with no copper added to the print.

Sizes and framing

This art edition is available in A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) or A2 (42 × 59.4 cm). Choose unframed, with a black frame or with an oak-coloured frame, according to the variants shown on this page.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
