The painting "A Midsummer Night's Dream" was painted by Lalou in 2024.

Lalou's work begins with patient research into egrets, multiplying sketches made from images chosen to capture the subtle articulation of their necks.

This exercise reveals an animal that may seem ungraceful, but whose elegance gradually imposes itself on the artist's gaze. Thus, nature finds a special place in Lalou's paintings, seeking to capture the suspended moment where the human, initially a spectator, becomes observed in turn by the scene he discovers.

Far from the hustle and bustle, each panel opens like an intimate clearing, revealing fragments of nature imbued with emotion and poetry, inviting wonder and contemplation.

Museum print

The prints are made with Epson Ultrachrome HD inks and on Canson Etching Rag 310g paper.

This print complies with the ISO9706 museum quality standard for conservation.

Canson papers have been tested with these inks by the independent laboratory Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR). The print will remain unchanged for several generations.

Shipping and Returns

The shipment is handled by "La Poste / Colissimo" or Mondial Relay. The prints are slipped into tubes (the widest available, diam. 10cm) and then inserted into a box. We chose this solution to best protect the prints and ensure impeccable delivery.
