A tree reaches in from the right above rounded rocks and pale blue water. Its small copper-coloured leaves stand out against the sky, facing the red trees on the distant bank.

The broad curves of the stones echo the branches of the trunk. The landscape leaves an opening at the centre of the square between the banks, among the greys and ochres of the Breton rock formations.

The orange foliage reproduces the copper leaf applied to the original painting. The print renders its colours above the rocks and water.

Edition and presentation

This artwork is offered in a limited edition of 50 numbered copies. Presented in a black floating frame. Available format: 50 × 50 cm.

Each limited edition is hand-signed and numbered by Lalou on the back of the print. It comes with a certificate, also signed, stating its edition number and the title of the work. All limited editions are presented in a floating frame.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
