Slender trunks rise among the rocks and spread their small leaves against a very clear sky. The water, marked with regular blue patterns, flows between stones in shades of ochre and grey.

A large central rock creates a sense of depth. Behind it, a discreet bank and a few dark trees extend the landscape, with the attention to curves that characterizes Lalou’s Breton rock formations.

The orange foliage is the result of copper leaf work on the original painting. Its colour is carried over here in the reproduction on art paper.

Edition and presentation

The edition comprises only 50 numbered copies. Presented in a black American box. Available sizes: 30 × 60 cm, 40 × 80 cm.

Each limited edition is hand-signed and numbered by Lalou on the back of the print. It comes with a certificate, also signed, stating its edition number and the title of the work. All limited editions are presented in a floating frame.

Quality and preservation

Printed on 310 g/m² Canson Etching Rag paper with Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can last up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the materials and the conditions of display and storage.
