Original painting, painted by Lalou Kraffe in ? 2025:

“Then I dipped my feet in the icy water” is one of the three panels in the triptych that invites the viewer on an intimate journey: overcoming barriers, confronting the invigorating coolness of the water, and then surrendering to the joy of inner movement. Each panel thus becomes a step towards liberation, evoking the passage from withdrawal to vital energy. Through a simple gesture, the canvas celebrates personal transformation, sensory exaltation, and the power of renewal—a dialogue between body, nature, and newfound freedom.

The painting is a unique work created on a 10mm MDF wood panel, prepared using traditional methods with a gesso coating. The painting is entirely done with extra-fine acrylic paint (Sennelier, Charvin, Liquitex) applied with copper foil and created entirely by hand, without any glue or artificial additives.

The XL American-style frames are made in Brittany by our partner framer and the artworks are mounted in our workshop in Auray.
