"I close my eyes, I delve into myself and you are there, I regain my strength."

The face is turned to the left, eyes closed, beneath grey hair swept up into a bun. Fine drawings run along the hair and the nape of the neck, above a dark patterned garment.

The blue of the leaves and vertical lines echoes the large golden background. The portrait is held in this movement of the slightly raised face, like a breath taken for oneself.

The luminous background reprises the gold leaf that covers this part of the original. The art paper restores its nuances, behind the profile and the blue branches.
