A blue turban surrounds a high hairstyle topped with a nest and an egg. Behind the figure, a large golden disc echoes the ochres of the jacket; dark plants rise against a grey background.

The face remains open, with the eyes turned to one side. Stems, the branches of the nest and the folds of the fabric compose a delicate scene in which we rediscover the pleasure of slowing down and observing.

The golden disc echoes the gold leaf Lalou applied to the original painting. Its range of tones is reproduced here on fine art paper, around the nest and blue turban.

Sizes and framing

This art edition is available in A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) or A2 (42 × 59.4 cm). Choose unframed, with a black frame or with an oak-coloured frame, according to the variants shown on this page.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
