A large purple collar rises to the mouth beneath red hair and a clear gaze. Behind the face, dark foliage appears against a golden background; below, pinks echo the folds of the coat.

The garment conceals the figure as much as it defines it. We love the strength of this colour combination and the way the portrait leaves room for the gaze, the only point of connection above the collar.

In this print, the golden background echoes the gold-leaf work of the original painting. Its shades bring out the red hair and the purples of the coat.

Sizes and framing

This art edition is available in A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) or A2 (42 × 59.4 cm). Choose unframed, with a black frame or with an oak-coloured frame, according to the variants shown on this page.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
