Your milky skin is the perfect dessert for my guest, the moon...
A red-haired woman lies among blue cushions, resting her face on her arms. Behind her, a large pale celestial body stands out against grey beneath branches with dark leaves.
Fabrics are piled in bands of blue, white and black. Dots, stripes and botanical patterns lend rhythm to this variation on The Princess and the Pea, whose figure gives us a knowing look.
The celestial body in the original artwork is made with silver leaf. This print reproduces its pale nuances above the cushions and red hair.
