Original painting: "Listening to the birds and contemplating the great theater..."

A large tree with copper-colored foliage stands between the rocks in the foreground. On the other side of the clear water, blue trees line a bank dotted with small yellow circles.

Red stakes, rounded stones, and brown patterns punctuate the bottom of this third panel. The landscape opens up between the branches in soft blues and grays.

The orange foliage is created using copper leaf on this original panel. Its color stands out against the clear sky above the banks and the blue water.
