Original painting: “Lying on a bed of fragrant ferns… I drift into a daydream…”

The pines raise their tall trunks between the rocks and the pale water. Their green crowns meet in the sky beneath a small copper-coloured sun. Below, dark ferns and touches of yellow invite us to explore the details in the foreground.

Lalou lies down among the ferns, lets their fragrance come to her and drifts into a daydream. We can take our time following her: walk between the trees, look at the water, then return to the sun.
