At the heart of the triptych, the pause. Lalou Kraffe captures the suspended moment where the body anchors itself, where the outside world fades away in favor of total presence in the moment. "Here or here": indifference to geographical landmarks, only the quality of the moment matters. A centered, almost static composition, where the seated figure becomes a meditative pivot between departure and contemplation. The tones become more intimate, more subdued.

The painting is a unique work created on a wooden panel (MDF 10mm) traditionally prepared with a gesso coating. The painting is entirely done with extra-fine acrylics (Sennelier, Charvin, Liquitex) with copper leaf application and created by hand, without any collage, or AI...
