The KLE gallery, in the “city of painters” of Pont Aven

Lalou Kraffe, Brittany and Pont-Aven: a story of art and emotion between Lalou Kraffe and Pont-Aven, it is a true love story that has lasted for many years.

In her early days in Brittany, exhibiting in an art gallery in Pont-Aven represented an incredible opportunity for a young artist. The renowned Galerie B of Brigitte Laureau offered her this first chance, allowing her to present her work alongside established artists such as Marie Morel and Christine Morin .

Twenty years later, it is with a very special emotion and deep gratitude that Lalou Kraffe sees her works exhibited again in Pont-Aven, this time at the KLE Gallery, located at the foot of the museum.

This new space, dedicated to showcasing his poetic universe, presents both unique pieces and museum-quality art prints , produced in Auray.

This loyalty to Pont-Aven testifies to the strong link that unites the artist with this emblematic place in the history of art, and to the growing recognition of his work over the years.

A painter with a rich and unique universe

At the heart of Lalou Kraffe 's work is the desire to tell the story of women in all their lives, through portraits imbued with gentleness and poetry .

Her works, inspired by Japonisme and nature, bring a soothing and refined atmosphere to each interior, transforming the space into a true haven of serenity .

With humor and playfulness, her series "The Princess and the Pea" adds a touch of fantasy and joy to your decor.

Choosing a work by Lalou means inviting poetry and inspiration into your daily life, and giving your home a unique and vibrant touch.

Poetry in your interior

Poetry and technique

The original paintings

Highly technical in his approach, a precious legacy from his time at the Boulle school, Lalou Kraffe combines rigor and spontaneity in each of his works.

Her classical expertise, nurtured by years of learning and careful observation, blends with a vivid inspiration and creative freedom that shines through in every story she tells us on the canvas.

Each painting is born from a subtle balance between meticulous application and the impulse of the moment: from the preparatory drawings recorded in his notebooks since the Boulle school, to the final touch, always driven by emotion and intuition.

This technical rigor never stifles the poetry that animates it; on the contrary, it enhances its delicacy and depth , offering the viewer works where beauty, sensitivity, and the pleasure of painting converge with evident clarity.
