A red-haired profile stands out against pinks and purples beneath a large golden celestial body. Branches and foliage seem to extend the hairstyle, blending the figure into the setting.

The face turns to the right, the neck rising above a dark collar. The calm of the profile answers the abundance of leaves and small dots in the background: a portrait to study up close as well as to let inhabit a wall.

The large celestial body in the original painting is made with gold leaf. This reproduction captures its shades above the red-haired profile and foliage.

Quality and care

Printed on Canson Etching Rag 310 g/m² paper using Epson UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks. According to Epson, these inks can provide a print life of up to 200 years in colour and 400 years in black and white, depending on the printing medium and the conditions of display and storage.
