"The leaves shiver, my heart expands, soon the day will be here..."

A red-haired female profile turns to the right against a dark purple and pink background. A thin branch crosses the hairstyle, above a large patterned collar.

The golden sun occupies much of the top of the image, between the small black leaves. The contrast of the pale skin, hair, and background gives this portrait a luminous presence.

The large sun reproduces the gold leaf used in the original painting. The print restores its nuances behind the drawing of the leaves.
