“Ultimately, contemplation is a precious asset... Source of so much happiness...” is a painting by Lalou in 2024.

This landscape inspired by the “Breton chaos” pays homage to the unique nature of Brittany, where she has lived for more than twenty-five years. Lalou places her work in the tradition of the Nabis , artists influenced by Japonism , who chose to celebrate the poetry of the world rather than its strict imitation.

In their image, Lalou composes his works as sensitive evocations, nourishing his creative energy with the colors, shapes and spirituality of this tradition which has inspired many painters.

It exudes a deep serenity and an invitation to contemplation. The emotion it evokes is one of peaceful calm, gentle harmony with nature, and a feeling of tranquil well-being.

Museum print

The prints are made with Epson Ultrachrome HD inks and on Canson Etching Rag 310g paper.

This print complies with the ISO9706 museum quality standard for conservation.

Canson papers have been tested with these inks by the independent laboratory Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR). The print will remain unchanged for several generations.

Shipping and Returns

The shipment is handled by "La Poste / Colissimo" or Mondial Relay. The prints are slipped into tubes (the widest available, diam. 10cm) and then inserted into a box. We chose this solution to best protect the prints and ensure impeccable delivery.
