Original painting, painted by Lalou Kraffe in October 2025:
“I sat my bottom on a round pebble and in the freshness of autumn, I whistled with the robins” captures an intimate and poetic scene: sitting on a round rock, the artist lets herself be enveloped by the autumnal freshness and shares a simple moment with the robins, through song.
The painting evokes both the connection with nature, the tranquility and the joy of everyday life, offering the viewer a moment of sweetness and complicity in the light of a Breton autumn.
The painting is a unique work created on a 10mm MDF wood panel, prepared using traditional methods with a gesso coating. The painting is entirely done with extra-fine acrylic paint (Sennelier, Charvin, Liquitex) applied with copper foil and created entirely by hand, without any glue or artificial additives.
The XL American-style frames are made in Brittany by our partner framer and the artworks are mounted in our workshop in Auray.
