“I found myself there, surrounded by a thousand thoughts, in this unfamiliar place where only the comforting aroma of Genmaicha could soothe me…” evokes a unique place where fragrances reassure and become landmarks. Genmaicha envelops thoughts in an invisible cocoon; its scents warm and offer refuge. Solitude becomes gentle, familiar in this soothing vapor. Lalou invites us to smell before we see, to find comfort in the whisper of aromas.

The painting is a unique work created on a 10mm MDF wood panel, prepared using traditional methods with a gesso coating. The painting is entirely done with extra-fine acrylic paint (Sennelier, Charvin, Liquitex) and applied with 24-karat gold leaf. It is created entirely by hand, without any collage or artificial enhancement.

The XL American-style frames are made in Brittany by our partner framer and the artworks are mounted in our workshop in Auray.
